Before you ask

A few things people ask first.

Do I need to migrate off QuickBooks to try Coherence? +

No. The trial onboarding is two spreadsheet exports. You don't move off your current GL to evaluate Coherence. If you decide to run Coherence as your primary accounting platform later, that's a separate conversation we'll have when you're ready.

Is the free trial time‑limited, feature‑limited, or both? +

Time‑limited. You get the full product — Portfolio, Period Reports, Signals, drill‑through, the accounting ledger — for fourteen days. No tier gates during the trial. If you need longer because your close happens to land past day fourteen, email us and we'll extend.

We're a PE firm. How does portfolio sharing between portcos and our firm work? +

Each portco has its own Coherence tenant with strict row‑level isolation. Portfolio sharing is a deliberate act between that portco and your firm tenant — the portco's admin chooses exactly which surfaces you see, at member‑level granularity. Data never leaves the portco's database.

Do you offer partner / reseller arrangements for accounting firms? +

Yes. Firm tenants with multi‑client portfolio sharing are a first‑class use case. We have a partner program with volume pricing, white‑glove onboarding for new clients, and a direct Slack channel with our team. Ping [email protected].

What does a walkthrough actually look like? +

Thirty minutes, one screen share. You bring two spreadsheets (last 24 months of P&L and BS) or we use a demo tenant if you'd rather not. We stand up your Coherence tenant live, show you Portfolio and Period Reports with your numbers, and answer whatever comes up. You keep the tenant at the end. No slides.
